“Slow Violence of the Supply Chain” represents the story of logistics in the region spanning from the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach to the former citrus groves and current distribution centers and Amazon warehouses of the Inland Empire of Southern California. It is one chapter in the Humanities Action Lab’s Climates of Inequality: Stories of Environmental Justice collaboratively curated traveling exhibition, digital platform, and public programs, which launched in October 2019. The exhibition is traveling the United States, Mexico, and Colombia, and will be presented in Los Angeles and the Inland Empire in 2023.
